The Venue is a wedding venue and event space in downtown Asheville, two bookable levels in a 1920s building at 21 North Market Street. Since 2009 it has hosted weddings, elopements, corporate events and celebrations, with the bar, the staff and the rentals already in the room. Wedding venue pricing starts at $6,200.

Two ways to take the room

5 hour rental

Ceremony & Reception

Time to say I do, share a heartfelt meal, and lose yourselves in the joy of dancing, ending with a smooth transition to a downtown after-party.

4 hour rental

Reception Only

After saying I do at the location of your choice, welcome guests to a warm cocktail hour and a dinner prepared by your caterer. Then turn up the music.

Before you ask

Good to know

Bar: The Venue provides all bar and beverage service. No outside beverages.
Catering: Bring your own caterer, or choose from our preferred list. There is no in-house kitchen.
Planner: A licensed, insured planner or coordinator is required for every wedding ceremony and reception.
Parking: No private lot. Metered spaces, garages and hotel parking are all within walking distance.
Dogs: Welcome at the ceremony and any part of the day where food is not being served.
Permits: Fully insured, and we hold all required ABC alcohol permits.
